You mean like last yr, when we went after Asomougha?

Or 1995, when we signed Deion?

Sorry i offended your guy. I need to be mindful that you are on high alert to serve and protect all that is Jerry. You are correct. Jerry did go after the top corner last year only to get hosed by the Eagles and Deion was like 17 years ago!

He isnt my guy.

I dont see how we got "hosed" by the Eagles. They outbid us. We werent even expected to be players in free agency, but they made a a real run at the guy.

Deion did make a difference on the team. I think we'd have probably won the championship in 1995 without him anyway, but once Kevin Smith got hurt on opening day we really needed him.

He was also a mortal lock to win DPOY in 1998 before the infamous toe injury, was probably having the best yr of his career that year.

Ok, well appears to me you are always defending him. Sure not all arguments are legit but many of them are.

Oh lord, i need to pick and choose my words better because you are roaming around trying to debate them. I am so not into a debate the Cowboys mood, lol. You win!

Who cares.

They probably wouldnt make those moves until they actually need the cap space.

Also, unless you have someone at VR on speed dial, or personally know alot of the Cowboys players' agents, you have no clue what they might be working on. Just because nobody has come out and publicly said anything doesnt mean it isnt being worked on.

Why wait though? It's clear they are gonna need the cap space if they're only heading into free agency with 5 million to play with.

I went with 1 big name.

Can't see there being a shit ton of ability to get more than that without significant leg work in pushing the cap burden down the line.

1 big name, hopefully it's Mario because that may provide another way to free up 1M or 2M by low-numbering him this year and letting Spencer walk.

Carr would be nice.

Anything less than a C would suck, IMO.

I went with nothing for the first week.. For some reason I can't remember us in recent years being major players when FA kicks off.

I think we'll resign most of our players and maybe sign one or two vets throughout the rest of free agency. That just seems like Jerry's way recently.

I hope I'm wrong. I think we should go all in for Mario Williams. Then fill the rest of our holes with above average vets / the draft.
