Think about it....

He's had poor coaching his whole career (yes, including Parcells years)

He's only had a decent OL once... 2007

He's never had a thousand yard running back

He's never had the benefit of having an above average to very good defense.

There isn't a quarterback in the league that would succeed if they were in his shoes.

Yep. And take this and compare it to all other QBs that has won Super Bowls. You basically have to have at least 3 of 4 of that criteria.

doubtful, but hold onto that dream if it makes you happy

Wait. Lets play this game. Romo on a methodical and tightly controlled Mike Tomlin team? Sean Payton? Mike Harbaugh? Jeff Fisher? Belichick?

No difference?

Bonus question: If you already have a Ravens pickle in a jar, what's a dill for?

You can't even take dbair serious when he gives his take on QB's. Guy has a Drew Bledsoe avatar FFS.

IRVING, TX—In an effort to prevent the multiple championship–viewing player from reaching free agency, the Dallas Cowboys announced this week that the team had signed Super Bowl–watching quarterback Tony Romo to a six-year, $108 million contract extension. “Tony has already watched seven Super Bowls for us,” said Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who acknowledged that the most lucrative contract in team history will put extra pressure on Romo to continue watching championships. “He was born to watch the Super Bowl, he’s proven himself capable of it, and we are confident that the next few years will see Tony Romo watch many, many more Super Bowls as a Dallas Cowboy.” Jones added that a major focus for the team this season will be on keeping Tony Romo healthy so that he can watch the entire 2014 playoffs.

bwahahahahaha! I love the Onion.

If Romo wins a Super Bowl, the perception will definitely change.

Peyton Manning was regarded as the guy who couldn't win it all. Couldn't beat Spurriers Gators (lost all 4 games in college). Couldn't beat the Patriots in the playoffs.

Then he beat the Pats in incredible fashion and won the Super Bowl and he's been regarded as a legend (rightfully so).

Even the pick six to lose the SB against the Saints hasn't hurt him.

I think something similar would happen with Romo for sure.

No it won't. Theebs will personally see to it that it doesn't, just so he's right.

I think the perception of Romo will change once he wins the Super Bowl. How wouldn't it?

Miles austin sucks man dick at locating a ball in midair. A 50 yard 1 on 1 for a $60M WR isn't shitting the bed and it isnt a bad throw. Miles did the same thing against the giants in that disastrous game in Dallas. The point is if you can discard the numbers that are in his favor you can do it for the ones that arent.

Week 9-16 weren't clutch games? Week 17 is magically more pressure than the others?

I see nothing crazy with the 11th best qb throwing some picks when the whole offense is draw it in the dirt shit because we are trailing 80% of the time. With 1 WR who is retarded and the other who was playing with a broken finger.

What's hilarious is, if by chance we win that game in week 17, Tony has 2 broken ribs, we have one Wide Out that's not gonna be on IR after that game. We lost 3 more of the street gang defense we had out there and we lose so embarrassingly that winning the NFCEast and getting to a playoff game against all fucking odds would be completely over whelmed by Kyle Orton throwing to Ogleetree with no running back and 3 more defensive players hurt.

We lucked out by losing that game where Romo three 2 of his 3 interceptions while having trouble lifting his arm above his head without coughing up blood. But hey, Romo choked in a game that had we won, we'd not even have been able to field a team that would have beaten the practice squad from the Seahawks. We had 18 people on IR with 8 more playing with broken bones, ribs, or busted ligaments by the end of last season.

Why the fuck would you have wanted to see us in the playoffs the next week?
