They are relishing in the fact that we have provided them a temporary reprieve from their destiny.

It's a hollow 3-2 that they have.

I mean, seriously . . . what, as a team, are they good at?

Offense is terrible. Defense is average. Special teams is average.

To this point they've won games because of opponents stupid mistakes or injuries.

That isn't going to hold up. They're an 8-8 team at best by seasons end.

If the Eagles don't lose Vick . . . the Eagles win.

If the Packers don't lose Finley, Matthews, Pickett, and the other TE (on top of already not having their starting safety and running back), the Packers win that game.

As a fan of a team that is 1-3 . . . I'm glad the Redskins are winning these games, because they're essentially helping us by giving the Packers and Eagles some losses. I know that the Redskins ultimately won't be a contender by years end, so this helps.

Where's the option for "More than the Cowboys"?

Look, I hate the Skins as much as any of you, but for all the things they aren't great at, they are finding ways to win. More than I can say for the Cowboys at this point. Our bunch of idiots are clawing and scratching to find ways to lose.

You're out of your mind if you think they'll have a better record than us by seasons end.

Until this team can show me that they can win with any regularity, and the Skins fall off, I'll just base my opinion on what I'm currently seeing.

We out talent them. That's about it. Right now, they're smarter, better coached and they are most importantly winning games.

I don't like it either.

I don't know if they are smarter or better coached. They certainly have gotten the benefit of calls and many no-calls. Teams making mistakes against them does not constitute as them being smarter or better copached, but I understand what you are saying.

I didn't need to see a lol. I could sense laughter in your words.

It was rude and uncalled for.

Now . . . if only tr1 would kill himself.

Devin Thomas thinks he was cut over steamy music video

Panthers wide receiver Devin Thomas’ believes getting waived by the Washington Redskins had nothing to do with his performance on the football field and everything to do with his hobbies off of it according to Steve Reed of the Gaston Gazette.

Thomas was cut earlier this week by the Redskins after taking up permanent residence in new Redskins coach Mike Shanahan’s doghouse.

He was claimed off waivers Monday by the Carolina Panthers and now the third-year pro hopes to reignite his flailing three-year NFL career in an offense that has struggled in the passing game.

“You can look at it (getting waived) and get mad, but I look at it more as motivation,” said Thomas, a second round pick in 2008 out of Michigan State.

“It’s in the past. I’m just so happy to help this team. Everybody has a positive attitude around here even though (the record) is 0-5.”

Thomas rarely saw action on offense this year for the Redskins after catching 40 passes in his first two seasons under former coach Jim Zorn. He claims that’s because Shanahan got irritated with his off-field activities this past offseason.

Thomas co-starred in a steamy music video with Fantasia in her song “Bittersweet” and later did some modeling for the now defunct Vibe magazine and a few other publications.

After Washington’s win over Green Bay this past Sunday, Shanahan said Thomas is “going to have to commit to being a pro.”

Then he cut him.

“I’ll take that to heart, and now that I have a second chance, I’ll make sure I do everything professionally,”

Thomas said, Thomas said he’s promised general manager Marty Hurney the off-field things won’t be a distraction.

It seems like there's a new best team in the NFC east every week. This week it's shaping up to be the Eagles.
