Lockout threatens workout bonus for Ware

ESPN obtained a copy of some of the biggest workout bonuses that players have, and whom this lockout will hit in the wallet sooner rather than later. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware has the Cowboys' biggest offseason workout bonus -- $500,000 if he participates in 90 percent of the workouts.

This is why I don't get why a lot of the players are on the NFLPA's side. They're costing a lot of them money in the feint hopes that they can share in the revenue with the owners.

It's risky business.

It's a creative way to get a player to sign a deal. Just add a whole bunch of easily met incentives to increase the amount of money they'll receive.
