Yep, we had a couple of rooms with it in our house. I think most of my grandparents' house was filled with it.Wasn't that all the rage in the 70s.

Then in the 90's if you did not want to re-sheetrock the whole house it was all painted with Kiltz before a coat of regular paint. And then in the 80s came the pre-wallpapered sheetrock. And all the necessary edge trim and so on.
That stuff is hard to find these days. Last year I had some termite damage and had to rip some of that out of my garage to replace some studs. Since I did not want to redo the entire garage due to all the shelves I have put in I had to look a long time to find some. At Home Depot they actually had some that was completely flat with the black lines painted on. I finally found some at a local lumber place although they had very little left. I had to install it, Kiltz it, and then paint to match the rest of the garage. Using the Kiltz brought back memories of doing so much when my wife and I bought our first house that we remolded back in the 90's.
Killz yeah. Handy stuff to have around. Then in the 90's if you did not want to re-sheetrock the whole house it was all painted with Kiltz before a coat of regular paint.
Indeed.Wasn't that all the rage in the 70s.
