He won't. He's a coward and won't go out into the cold, cruel world of coaching. No matter what, McCarthy at least worked his way up and earned what he's gotten. I like the pick.

The more we are hearing it sounds like Mike McCarthy night have been Jerry’s pick all along

I remember Jerry saying something when asked about the need to speed up the process for fear of the current group of candidates being hired by other teams was along the lines of “they can hire the entire list that you all have been talking about”

And at the time i found that a strange comment but I dismissed it

Looking back, it seems like he had McCarthy already in mind for the job, and he wasn’t one of the ppl everyone was talking about at the time. So it sorta makes sense now
