La'el Collins will be out for a very long time.

After initially suffering a torn ligament in his big toe, the Dallas Cowboys second-year guard sought second and even third medical opinions in an attempt to avoid having surgery which could likely end his season.

With Collins going to IR, it will see Ronald Leary get the start long term.

It is not yet known what the Cowboys will do with the additional roster spot at this time.

Johnny Walker GM also said it looks like Tyron Smith, Scandrick and Bailey all good to go for Bengals game.

Not sure having Scandrick out there is a good thing anymore though. I personally believe Brown is already better than him. Broaddus tweeted last night that he thinks Brown has been better than Scandrick too, so I don't think I'm alone.

Also on Bailey, apparently he believes an extremely soft hotel bed is the cause for his bad back over the weekend. The detail he left out is Dan probably had two hookers with him in the sack or something and they worked him over good.

Leary is really solid but if Fred or Martin go down, there's a huge drop off from them to Looney.

Apparently Smith did tweet out a somewhat vague message hinting that something very positive had happened, but still. I just cant believe this kid would be ready to go this year.
