It would be nice to have a later game Thursday night for west coasters. Games are halfway over when I get home.

Question: Why did they do these games on Thursday and not Friday? Friday would be better for the players with more recovery time and a more normal schedule, and wouldn't compete as much with college games.
I'm guessing it has something to do with ratings, but I'm not sure why people would watch less TV on Friday than on Thursday.

Yep, Friday is supposed to be about High Schools.
