And the silly thing is that as more protections are put into place, offensive coordinators will take advantage of the rules and will push the envelope more .... and at the end of the day, the QBs will continue to have the injuries, because the offensive coordinators will assume that more plays that were previously too risky are suddenly safer and worth the risk due to the rules changes.
Heck, it isn't like offenses are running max protect schemes much anymore. Instead OCs take their chances with empty backfields and use 4 wide-outs.
