Cowboys preparing for big Saints turnout

IRVING, Texas -- The Who Dats are coming. The Who Dats are coming.
After seeing AT&T Stadium filled with a lot of San Francisco 49ers fans for the season opener, the $1.2 billion palace will have open arms for the New Orleans Saints fans Sunday for the Dallas Cowboys' second home game of the season.
Henry Melton has a message for the Cowboys fans.
"I just want to let everybody know to come to the game, it's going to be Sunday night at 7:30, we'll be out there playing the Saints," Melton said. "It's going to be a good show. Come on out, spend some money. Don't' just stay out in the parking lot, come on in."
And don't sell tickets to the Saints fans.
The Cowboys will need a boisterous crowd against the Drew Brees-led Saints offense.
"It's huge to get the crowd into it," Melton said. "You feed off their energy. You already have energy going into the game, but when you hear the crowd get into it, it gives you another pep."
It's not so good for the Cowboys offense.
"So the more Cowboys fans we can get in there, the better," Melton said.
Following the Niners' loss, owner and manager Jerry Jones professed to not have noticed the large amounts of Niners fans. He can't feign ignorance this time. And he won't shut them out.
When the Saints were forced from New Orleans in 2005 because of Hurricane Katrina, Jones was such a big proponent for the team remaining in the city that he was honored by the state legislature.
"I got too many friends in Louisiana," Jones said after last week's win against the St. Louis Rams, "and they are already there besides the ones that came and stayed during the storm. We got a lot of friends in Louisiana. They love (the Cowboys) except when we are playing them Saints."
