I don't think anyone thinks its a smart move.. but bitching about it isn't going to make it stop, which is why i don't worry about it that much. As long as he signs the paychecks, he can do what he wants. I don't think he's as big of a distraction down there as everyone believes to be honest.
Having an opinion and pointing out why you think something is wrong is bitching...noted.

I see nothing wrong with a GM going to the sideline on occasion, and unfortunately that is what Jerry is.

Not for nothing, but I have seen Arthur Blank roam the sidelines. Not nearly as much as Jerry though.

Actually, his presence down there undercuts the authority of the head coach. Any pep talk during the game should come from the HC, not the owner.

I disagree. If Jerry were coming down with a headset and clipboard then I'd see where that would be a major problem.

In my opinion it doesn't look like he's doing anything wrong. It always looks like he's just walking by the players telling them shit to keep them motivated and is getting a better view of the game.

If I'm the owner of a team... I'd probably do whatever the fuck I wanted to as well. If thats going to the sideline then thats where I would be.

But some owners put their teams ahead of themselves. Obviously Jerry isn't one of those.

Yeah, I think it is stupid...stay in the box, you hired these people to coach the team and get players through tough spots like this. If he is not allowing Garrett to get Romo's head back right, then it makes you wonder what else he does not trust him with.
