I loved how he would tackle people then help himself up using them.
I'm sure this is CSB, but the first Cowboys game I went to in Dallas, I stayed at the team hotel. At that time, the team stayed at a local hotel the night before a game. Not sure if they still do. Anyway, the players stayed in some section that was locked so that people couldn't wander in and out. We were talking to the security guy outside the area and Darren Hambrick wandered out and couldn't get back in.
The security guy was like "Lock yourself out again, Darren?" Must have been a common experience. Don't think the Hambricks were blessed with overwhelming intelligence.
I also got autographs from Billy Davis, Charles Haley and Drew Pearson plus got to listen to a breakfast speech from Coach Joe Avezzano.
Most average Cowboys fan experience ever? Perhaps.
