You step out of the house with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter till Dan Bailey's GW kick?

Hey, they made some plays when it mattered most, just like the last two drives last week in Cinci

They get credit for that for sure.

Still gotta dump the 3 man rush garbage and stop playing so far off the ball. I can understand the safeties playing deep because 1) they are slow and 2) they have no idea how to play in space anyway. But the CB's should be trying to disrupt these routes more.

Other than the bizarre Romo naked bootleg call, and his propensity to go with these short yardage/tight formations in in short yardage sits all the time, what play calls are you having a problem with exactly

I don't know whether it's the play calls, per se, that I have issues with (though there are plenty of headscratchers), it's taking that responsibility out of his hands so he can concentrate on other important things.

I frigging hate Garret, but I'm also inclined to give him another season unless a clear upgrade is available, in which case I'd kick him and the rest of the clan out of Valley Ranch posthaste.

I'm not opposed to someone else calling plays, but if the OL plays the way it has most of this year it doesnt matter who calls plays, which is (and has been) my point to CMD for a few weeks now.

Norv Turner is a great play caller and offensive coordinator, but his offense has been bad in San Diego the past two seasons because of a number of issues, at the top of which is poor OL play.

Garrett needed the team to completely flop to get canned. The team has done the opposite. They have fought the entire time. I don’t know if this is a good team, but i do think they have alot of fight in them. I also think Romo and the WRs are doing a better job of communicating and getting on the same page. Murray is such a huge boost to the offense.

Yea, Garrett is safe for now and i think Ryan is too.

I agree. I was on the fence and I think, after the last few weeks, he deserves another year. Early in the year I had my doubts because the team just looked so damned disorganized offensively.

The defense is a MASH unit, the OL is terrible and this team is competitive. They are 3-0 in December. When was the last time we saw that? This last two weeks will tell us a lot about the make up of this team.

This is bad, but I feel like an abused wife that thinks her abusive husband has finally changed. I'm in love again. I better not get beaten the next two weeks.

Sad, but unfortunately probably true.

Do you think another playcaller is going to overcome the OL's basic inability to block consistently? If you know if someone that can do that, then I'll be right there with you.

That said, the OL did play pretty well today. definitely one of their best games of the year.

Get rid of DeCamillis! The fucking squib kick which allowed the Steelers to start on their own 45 yard line... WHAT THE FUCK!

I agree. I think he's turning into an excellent head coach.

Decamillus needs to f'ing go. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Same with Sensabaugh and McCray. Get rid of those 3 bums, fix the o line, and I think we'll be contenders next year.

I agree with all of this except the bolded. But I would add get rid of Ryan as well. And return to the 4-3. I think an LB corp of Lee, Carter, and maybe Albright would be pretty awesome. For the Dline, Ware, Spencer, Hatcher, and it we drafted that big sucka from Tennessee.

Was that Jason Garrett showing emotion out there today?
This team,if it can ever do anything quietly, has quietly won 5 of it's last 6.
Ask me again the 1st weekend of the playoffs.I'll only commit to saying things are looking up.

I am the ultimate pessimist created by the very team I love, but even I have to say I am somewhat impressed with what has transpired these last few weeks. I am certainly not buying into them being a playoff team or a contender but at least aknowledging what Garret has done with this team. We have one of if not the worst offensive lines in football. We have been ravaged by injuries to key personell All star caliber players yet our team is finding ways to win not finding ways to lose like usual.
Romo is having his best year considering the circumstances and his surroundings.

That being said I am expecting us to lose the final 2 games and forget about what I just wrote
