So we won the division a year after an injury decimated team missed it. Is the season a success whether we win a postseason game or not?
What if we win one playoff game but lose in divisional round, is it a "success" then?
For me, I think they would have easily made the playoffs last yr if not for the catastrophic injuries, so simply getting there this year isnt enough. All things considered, seeing them get to the conference championship game would be an obvious step forward.
But if they flop next week, IMO no, this isnt a "successful" season. It's an "ok" season.
He isn't wrong. That was their genuine expectation of themselves.
I'd venture to guess Troy felt the same way.
They were exceptional players and leaders, and played for exceptional coaches who commanded respect and demanded excellence. Been a long time since we have had that unfortunately.
I am analyzing all the science and data on a daily basis, I have made a huge difference in the health of the DCU since taking on this huge responsibility.
Have you gotten Covid yet since I inserted all these safety protocols?
Based on our current expectations for this franchise, so far the season has been a success. I want to believe.....I really do. Maybe I'll feel different in a week but it's better to be where we're at than sitting at home. After last years debacle and historically bad D, I like a lot of what we saw this year.

Definitely agree about the D, really hoping with some of the talent we added and the obvious improvement in the coaching on that side that we can luck out and keep Quinn and his guys for at least another year.
Only the retards that celebrate moral victories and want participation trophies think regular season wins are "success". We all know success is what you do in JANUARY (and hopefully February).
