It's like this team is completely jinxed. I mean, the stars aligned that we have that 12-4 divisional loss season at Garretts final year in the contract? God damn.....

Same thing happened in 2010. He went 5-3 (fuck you, Kitna) after sabotaging Wade and got himself the job.

Just depressing.

Go look again. He had 1 winning record in Cleveland. It just shows you don't know football. No I'm not trolling. If you and your cronies want to have a locker room mentality, it's ok. I just started to play your game. It's still my opinion and I have said in different posts that Red is a good coach and why. If it's not to your satisfaction it's ok. Is it really necessary to agree with everyone? Hell no. If any of us were perfect we would own the Dallas Cowboys and we could hire whoever we wanted and we would finally win. The biggest point of the last few days that everyone is overlooking is the fact we need a change higher up before anything else changes.
No one is trying to get anyone to agree with anything. How boring would a echo chamber be, s0n? By all means hell no, don't agree!

Man do I love this forum where common sense rules instead of agendas. It is great being able to see idiots treated like fucking idiots.
The main thing is, we don't delete anyone's posts or move them out of public view, or moderate them at all really. Only under very few circumstances would any of that happen.

By the way cdgreer, thanks for the call at home last night and glad we got to talk after what, 30 years? You're still as sharp of a cat as before, you're just wrong on this one.

Opinions aren't immune to challenge, in fact in a free speech society it's encouraged.

And whisperin' Bill was 36–44 at Cleveland, Ginger is 44–37 right now. Difference is? (Besides Bill has football knowledge and knows how to use it) That was in CLEVELAND which was a trainwreck, bereft of talent when he took the job, whereas Ginger's had talent every year he's steered Dallas into a train wreck.

I have always maintained JERRUH SOLD HIS SOUL for that last SB because he wanted to prove it was not all Jimmy and the price was that we would not win another while he was alive

I remember you saying that once at CC.com and it stuck with me. Seems legit.

Garrett is tied to Jerry through the "training" bullshit. Firing Garrett now reflects on Jerry. Garrett will stay.

The only way Garrett leaves is if either Stephen or Romo, and certainly both demand it. The training has to come to an end. And if there is nothing to show for it --- which will be the case, it still will reflect badly on Jerry, but worse because he took so long, and he wasted the careers of Romo, Bryant, and Witten.

He gets someone in here like Payton, and if the Cowboys wins a Super Bowl... all sins by Jerry, would be forgiven.

Let me answer my own question: Yes, he has. He hasn't even finished his 11th year as a coach. He was a QB coach for two years, starting in 2005, before Jerry handed him the OC job here.

The guy never called a single play in his life. He was the QB coach for the Dolphins and worked with Joey Harrington and Cleo Lemon --- this is where you can all laugh. But then he walks in and not just becomes the OC, but becomes the HIGHEST-PAID OC IN THE LEAGUE at $3 million/yr. --- and even then, Sparano had to hold his fucking hand.

In addition to being made a CO-HEAD COACH --- not having to answer to Wade. Then people up in here want to say that Jerry undermined Garrett..? GTFOH! Anyone that was undermined by Jerry it was Wade. Undermined by Jerry, and then sandbagged/sabotaged and set-up by Garrett to get fired. That's one of the reason I hate the POS.

Yes, you certainly are trolling.

Garrett has had how many winning seasons? Cool thanks.

I've said this very thing. The only or main ones that want Garrett to remain as HC of the Cowboys, would be fans, coaches, and owners of opposing teams.

I truly think Jerry would ditch Garrett if there was enough public pressure. As you've said multiple times though, the Dallas media won't attack Garrett at all anymore. Too fresh off a feel good 12-4 season I suppose.

But that didn't stop them with Wade though, after beating the Eagles three times that season --- twice consecutively, to win the division, and finally a playoff game.

It's going to take either Romo or Stephen --- preferably both, to get shit rolling. Problem is, that Romo likes Garrett. To which I'm pretty much losing respect for Romo, obviously he doesn't want to win.

Someone posted that in order for the team to fire Garrett and staff, it would cost over 25 million. We never should've given him that 5 year extension. That was ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I think were stuck with Garrett for another 2 years at least.

He's going to eat that cost regardless. Whether Garrett stays or goes. The question becomes: do you allow the careers of Romo, Bryant, and Witten to be wasted in the process, and be left at the end to have NOTHING to show for it?

Another troll move is to just cherry pick little phrases for replies while skipping the bitch slap posts. Very hostilian.

Bullshit statement. Doesn't want to win? Ridiculous to me as you think that I think Red is a good coach.

There is irrefutable proof that Garrett is not a good coach, you're just too stupid to recognize it. You were asked to provide instances where Garrett has demonstrated some sort of positive coaching.

I stand by what I say. If Romo wanted to win, he has to know that Garrett is not the coach to get it done.

Agreed. Garrett gets in Romo's way if anything. Garrett has proven he is incapable of winning games without Romo. Where would we be if we had a real coach for Romo's entire career?? I would say we would have at least two or three Lombardi trophies.

If I'm Jerry.... I'd be so so so pissed that this season is flushed because Garrett couldn't squeeze a single fucking win during Romos absence. The NFCE is so bad. One win. One fucking win and were in great shape.

But instead ever the optimist Jerry will just convince himself that gosh darn were so close let's not change a thing.

FML.
