It is Randall Morris in the photo. He wore #34 his rookie year (1984) during preseason, before the Seahawks signed Franco Harris, who took #34 and Morris changed to #43.

Check out the link to the play-by-play and boxscore from the Seahawks/49ers '84 preseason game. Morris is listed as #34. Also notice the Seattle drive beginning at 4:14 remaining in the 4th quarter - Morris ran around right end for 37-yards before Fuller pushed him out.

Not sure of the answer but LeSean McCoy just won his second straight Super Bowl ring without ever taking a snap in either Super Bowl

The signature appears to be Randall Morris who was #43

The running back for Seattle appears to be #34 Kevin Harmon

#49 for the 49ers is Jeffery Avery Fuller who played for the 49ers from 1984 thru 1989

Here are the games SF played Seattle during Fullers time at San Francisco:

1984 preseason game #4 (8/24/84) - #34 was Franco Harris, #43 was Randall Morris
1985 preseason game #4 (8/31/85) - no #34 or #43 Randall Morris
1985 regular season Week 12 (11/25/85)
1986 preseason game #4 (8/29/86) - no #34 but Randall Morris was on the team (#43)
1987 preseason game #4 (09/04/87) - no #34 but Randall Morris was on the team (#43)
1988 preseason game #4 (08/26/88) - Randall Morris was on the team (#43) & #34 Kevin Harmon
1988 regular season Week 4
(9/25/88) - Randall Morris was on the team (#43) & #34 Kevin Harmon
1989 preseason game #4
(09/01/89) - #34 Kevin Harmon

Here are photos of Randall Morris's signatures:

So... Why would Morris autograph a photo he's not in?

Seattle played one regular season game in SF during the Fuller years (1985). But that photo can't be from 1985, because they had a logo on the left side of their pants that year. Ergo, it's probably a pre-season game.

OTOH, the people in the background of the photo have jackets on, even gloves. Would that be the case in pre-season? The mystery widens.

Plus it looked like a sparse house. And, assume it's Candlestick? 49ers in their home red.

It's pretty dang good detective work from where I'm at.

thx, I tried to find the games but the only one I could find was the 85' regular season game; I was hoping to find the play in the photo but there was no #34 on the team. I still fast forwarded through the whole thing in the off chance something slipped through the craps but no luck

on first pass, there were only 2 games between Seattle and the Niners so I was hoping I could simply track them both down and then problem solved but then I realized the stat website I was looking at didn't list pre-season games so I went back to Wikipedia and discovered they played each other every damn pre-season game.

The 09-25-1988 game that had #34 playing for Seattle seems the likely game since the temp appeared to be around 60 degrees that day which is probably cold enough for wearing a jacket, etc. If you can track that game down, you might at least confirm who the RB was for sure but that still wont solve the mystery of the signature.

The other cold game was 1985 regular season Week 12 (11/25/85) and thats what I watched so that doesnt leave many other options for games that had Fuller and a #34 playing RB for Seattle (unless I overlooked a player for Seattle that was #34 but not a RB)
