What if keeping the red head guy means Jerry is still right in the middle of everything but hiring Cowher means Jerry has to step back?

Garrett will have more leverage than you think. But then again... you don't think.

Oh lord not this shit again.

No, No, and OH YEAH. NO!

The chin doesn't need to be in Dallas. Fucking guy wins 1 Super Bowl, thanks to refeeres and now he needs to be in Dallas.?

Hell no. I would rather roll with the red head guy.

Fixed that for you.

What if Garrett tells Jerry otherwise and that he's going to coach another team unless Jerry agrees?

That said, you still overblow Jerry's ultimate role here. You act like he does whatever he wants and makes decisions with no regard to how the coaches or scouts think, and that just isnt true (anymore). There was a time that was probably truie, but it isnt today.

Jerry was just as involved in 2010 as he was in 1996.

You don't hire Wade Phillips if you aren't intending to make the decisions for him. That's why Wade was hired. Because he would tolerate it.

He threw out the defensive coordinator angle and your homer ass bought it. If the defense was such a critical aspect to the next head coach hire, Norv Turner wouldn't have been one of the two finalists for the job.

You are looking for reasons to believe we're in a good situation. As you always do. Every year. No matter how wrong you are.

That's a homer.

Damn, that is a tricker there. We all know Jerry is the problem. And that is not changing until he is gone. But, I think Dallas will be just like they were with Parcells. An enemy coaching the team. Parcells atleast wasnt' an overrated HC.

+1. If we are going to do retreads, I'd rather it be Fisher.

17 years with the Titans., bad evaluator in Talent in most of those years and 1 Super Bowl appearence.. No thanks.

Garrett will have more leverage than you think. But then again... you don't think.

LOL. Says that guy that wouldn't mine Fisher in Dallas.. lol

Fixed that for you.

THANK YOU!! You are 100% correct. Super 40 should have an asterick next to it and I wonder if the refs ever got their rings for that game. That was pathetic. I got a stealers fan at work that actually called OTHER teams cheaters. I laughed. I bring up 40* and he starts getting all defensive. Cause he knows I am right. He brings up SB 30 and says that O'Donnell was paid off by Jerry. My reply? That was just great film study and great defense. LOL

Who would want Fischer with the way things have gone in Tennessee over the last few years? The guy coaches the stupidest team in the NFL and only a stupid owner would hire him at this point. Tennessee should be dominating that division with the talent they have but they are coach-poor.

And that's where I stand on the issue.

I'd rather roll with Garrett. But under these circumstances I'll choose the option that is most likely to mean less Jerry. And that's Bill Cowher.

I don't care about the enemy nonsense. This is a business. Players swap sides all the time. Why should coaches be any different?

Besides, you win a title with Cowher and Steelers nation goes ape shat.

That would be the ONLY reason I would want Cowher in Dallas. LOL. But, I don't think he would have LeBeau right by his side. I think he would still have the refs on his side come Super Bowl time, but, still... No..

I know it's business, but, he is still the enemy.

WHAT TALENT? Other than Chris Johnson, they have no one else. Of course you think VY is talent.

Tennessee doesn't have a QB.

If you don't have a QB, you don't have anything.
