Ouch.

It should also be noted that something similar was said by Jerry re: Hutchinson. That had he stayed in football for three years in collge (think he only played 1 or something) that he'd be the top pick in whatever year it was that we signed him.

You know a scout or someone told him that.

I thought Antonio Anderson would be good after his first NFL play was a sack.

I was wrong.

Watching BB's clip, it reminds me of how much more entertaining Parcells was in comparison to today's Garrett.

I didn't buy into the Henson hype. I was sold on Romo very early on.

I've made plenty of other mistakes, though.

I thought Sean Peyton was crazy for accepting the Saints job.
I was sure that Patrick Watkins would become the real deal at safety.
I believed in Doug Free so much that I questioned the decision to draft Tyron Smith (reasoning that the Cowboys couldn't fit two top-tier OTs under the salary cap once Smith finished his rookie deal).
I also didn't like the 49ers decision to start Kaepernick over Smith once Smith was healthy.

Oh well.

One thing I noticed about Henson was that there was a delay after he received the ball from the center. His backpedaling after the snap was very slow.

I bought the Chad Pennington hype.

I thought, 'why not? He's a pitcher aint he? 60 yard long TD bombs all day, baby!'

I did think Markus Steele would be good partly because he had a cool name. Look at how many good players have had cool names over the years. I thought he would eventually start for us and get attention for his name and then feed off that. I'm sure Jerry thought the same thing.
