#Cowboys Sean Lee to me, on beating Vikings: 'There's no bad teams. Just teams with bad records. That's a good
win right there.'

And this way of thinking is why we're such a mediocre team.

Sean Lee is usually pretty honest.

I have read multiple times where he has said if things don't change we will continue to be an 8-8 team

Ill give him a pass here

I think he's right to an extent. The winless Bucs had the 7-1 Seahawks on the ropes yesterday in Seattle. There is always a chance that any NFL team can beat any other NFL team. Sometimes it's not likely, but it's always possible.

There are definitely bad teams out there. But even the bad ones can jump up and bite you if you're not ready.

Acknowledging this can be both good and bad. On one hand, even mediocre teams feel like they can beat anyone. On the other, it can lead to giving a team a pass for playing down to their competition if they get the win.

I don't think the Seahawks are above questioning after their last two games, even though they won both. And the Cowboys don't get a pass just because they got the win yesterday.

Jax will be heartened to learn that they're not a crappy team. There's a difference between "any given Sunday" and being objectively bad.

Re: Bucs / Seahawks comparison...

There's a difference between a dominant team having a bad week - perhaps overlooking an opponent.

The Cowboys lost in embarrassing fashion last week, and really, our season was on the brink yesterday. You'd think we would've come out mad at the world and ready to take heads off.
