This is the MO for this team. Blow out the really bad teams and then we get some kind of false hope that we can turn it around.

As I posted the other day, this teams three wins came against teams with a combined 4 total wins for the year. Three losses came against teams with above 500 records. Big picture but it says a lot, and take note of the upcoming schedule.

Ha, well, yeah. I'm not saying talk draft yet, though, just that we might hold off a little on the playoff talk. Beat even a depleted Skins and I think you can start thinking those things again.

Anything is possible, of course, but do you guys think that's realistic? Feels to me like he's a little too excited about beating up on a horrible team. I mean, the best team we've beaten all year is the sucky Cardinals.

Yeah I'm not in the mode of thinking we're a legit Super Bowl team at all.

We should have won the Rams and Packers games and be 5-1, but pissed them away because of bad coaching and bad defense. Maybe the defense improves some as the season goes on if the key guys stay healthy, but the bad coaching isn't going away.

I guess anything is possible, but I think we need to go 7-3 the rest of the way to sniff the playoffs and I'm not sure that's going to happen.

Are you guys talking about the current Browns, Modell, or the city? The current Browns didn’t run off Belichick, Art Modell did. In case you missed it, he owned the Browns team that became the Ravens. And he never ran off Ozzie. The current Browns ownership definitely never ran off the other guys either.

At least the Cowboys can thank Cleveland for bringing Belichick in. Our only win vs Belichick came when he was the coach of the Browns.

Cleveland - where everything football turns to shit. Remove it from Cleveland, and it un-shits itself into gold again. I claim it is no coincidence that almost literally as soon as the original Browns moved to Baltimore they won a Super Bowl.
