I think if the founding fathers knew what the US political system would turn out to be, they would have stayed under British rule. Washington is 95% of the problems we have in this Country.

As long as the two party system remains in place with party affiliation on ballots I will have zero faith in the US system. The single member district winner take all representative systems blows ass. People that are into the notion of federalism do not seem to grasp the notion of divide and conquer.

Most of the framers thought that. That's why they initially had the state legislatures appoint senators and put in the electoral college. Most people are stupid and lazy and while that reality got better for most of US history it seems it's going in the opposite direction.

The problem isnt two parties. The problem is they dont have term limits.

I doubt the founding fathers ever intended for people to make their careers out of staying in Washington. Fix that, and alot of the garbage that goes on now will cease.
