I would think Garrett would say positive things about his most of his young players who are working hard in camp. That's the kind of a guy he is. At the same time, I think if the GM asked Garrett would you like an experienced guard to improve your line right now, he would be all for it.

How do you know they havent had this conversation? Are you privvy to something none of the rest of us are? I'm sure Jones talks to Garrett daily about personnel situations, and if one of them was as dire as you make out the G positon to be, I'm relatively sure Garrett would tell Jones to get someboy, and Jones would do it. We have the cap space.

We're not signing anyone for the line. I can guarantee that. Not anyone to start at least. Last time we signed someone this close to the season was Montrae Holland (well at least traded for him) and he did nothing his 1st year here. Hasn't really done anything his whole tenure here, but that's beside the point.

If coaches fail to run quality practices, install quality game plans, make poor (or no) adjustments during games or seasons and players dont show up on a week to week, or sometimes just quarter to quarter basis you are going to lose.

and who was responsible for hiring and retaining that coach? I know, it's not Jerry. He consults with everyone before making decisions.

How long will we keep telling that lie?
