Parcells' success had alot more to do with Bill Belichick than anything he did. Studying their history together (and apart) makes that painfully obvious to just about anyone.

Both Landry and Jimmy build dynasty teams, true super powers that SUSTAINED greatness. Parcells coached teams to 3 super bowls, looked great in the first one, got a flukey win in one, lost another and had all 3 of those teams miss the playoffs the following season. Now he wasnt in NE for their follow up season, but it was a one yr wonder team.

I used to love Landry roaming the sidelines in the shadows of Texas Stadium.

And Jimmy, he was just an animal head coach for us.
