I just don't think "educated idiots" would get a boner for Cowboys - Panthers. Not a fan of Goodell, just don't buy this conspiracy.

@AdamSchefter: Some smart people believe when Greg Hardy's appeal is said and done, suspension could be reduced to anywhere from 2 to 6 games. We'll see.

To me it just seems like Goodell knows he is going to lose on appeals so he goes big. Like, he wanted 6 games but knows that it will only be 2 after the appeal. He goes 10 so that the appeal process gets their "win" by reducing it 4 games.

Yep. Goodell had to do it for the PR, even if he knew it would be reduced.

I think his suspension gets reduced to 6, maybe 4.

I think the league is going to threaten keeping him on the exempt list to force him to accept a lesser suspension.
