Alot of people are well compensated for their job.

However if their employer was told "if you send employee X into Y situation, bad shit will happen", and the employer not only kept doing it despite that knowledge, and withheld that information - you have a problem. That's basically what happened, and I think the NFL is in some serious shit over it.

Every player knows when they grow old they are gonna feel the effects of what they did on their body. What they didn't know, and what the NFL DID know, is that it could also destroy their minds and lead to things like suicide.

Still think its all part of the risk of playing. They are extremely well compensated for taking that risk, and they kow injuries are possible.

I think that's fair to say now. The information was made public by Chris nowinski.

But a lot of no name special teams players got chewed up and now can't think straight. And made a couple hundred thousand for their troubles.

The information on concussions has really just now started coming out. To the point it's really changing how we watch sports. It's no longer cute to see a guy walk to the wrong sideline. But I think it's entirely possible they knowingly played players who clearly weren't all there. And I don't think those guys would go back in a game if they had all the information.

I cut my hand on some sheet metal at work a few years ago and there's a scar. The employer knew it was sharp but didn't tell me.
