It is a great opportunity for Selvie- no doubt about it. Also impressive that he kept himself in such good shape. He sure seems motivated.

Yep. Just like how when asked about the game, he made sure to emphasize how much he loved the work of Leary and Kiffin + Marinelli... His pet project FA signing and the two new coaches he just hired.

On Selvie, I haven't watched the game yet, but it does seem sort of suspicious that he's been let go by two 43 teams. If maybe a 34 team had drafted him and he didn't fit that scheme, it might make more sense.

As even dumbass Jesse Holly said on the postgame show, he might have done so well because he does have at least some pro experience where he could have been going up against rookies last night. (Not sure of the background of the Miami guys he faced.)

Selvie flashed some of the potential he showed at South Florida and played like a guy who knows he's running out of chances.

Very solid pickup, which seems rare for us this offseason.

Good thing I sent scouting reports to the Dallas Cowboys or they wouldn't have even known a player of his caliber was out there.
