It isn't both sides right now. This shit needs to happen now but Republicans are slowing it down in an i'll fated posturing effort. The Tea Party is quickly losing traction and likely won't be a talking point this time next year.

The dems are backing the Repukes into a corner, making them out to be the bad boys. Obama talks about how in 06' the raising was more of a political move, that is why he voted against it.
