The desire to go after Nmandi in the first place is why the culture of this team is all wrong.

Yep.

We made a conscious decision to dump some veteran OL in order to start 3 rookies, one a 7th rounder and another a undrafted FA. Then we turn around a make a big push to try and sign Assomgosh. wth? If we're making business decisions on the OL then why try to sign the biggest star of FA for the secondary? And if we had the money to make the signing, then why not instead bring in a medium priced OL or two and a mid-level CB?

We start out with one philosophy and then Jerry's like "hey look at me" with the chasing of Nmandi. Complete and utter incompetence.

Wade pulled his best Barry Switzer act minus the championship and the airport arrest.

True. One lived off of Jimmy's teams for a couple of years while the other enjoyed the fruits, inititally, of what BP had put into place. In the end though, they both ran it into the ground.

I'll say this though... if we had signed Awesomewah, we would've won the East.

We were a game away with our inept secondary. I think he'd have made a difference in the secondary.

And I say that knowing how he struggled in Philly. I think he was misused, which wouldn't have been the case here in Dallas.

He was overrated coming out of Oakland and its no surprise there were only 3 teams dumb enough to seriously consider overpaying for him. What's also not a surprise is that exactly zero of those teams made the playoffs.

The whole system here is a shitshow from jerrah down. One player would not have taught Garrett how to coach either.

With NA, we make the playoffs.

Cuz that makes too much sense and would have actually been executed by a mediocre to good GM.

Snyder ball BS needs to end.

I agree with this. However, I am fine to really glad that we did not spend so much on acquiring Aso. If we had, would we be in as good of cap shape that we are in right now to where we would be able to acquire Nicks, and maybe even Campbell. I think the money would be better spent in getting Nicks and Finnegan/Grimes, and possibly Campbell, and eventually winning more than just the division.

THIS. Having Aso would not have helped agaisnt the Cards. When you can only put up 13 points against that team, then you deserve to lose and lose we did. The defense did their job in regulation play.

Were only saving $4m-$6m on cutting Newman, we then have to get in a bidding war for finnegan or Grimms. Costing some more money.

Keeping Newman over nnamdi or joeseph cost us a division, probably a home win, and may have gifted the giants a SB

Good. So we're all on the same page then.

In wanting Newman off the team? OH YEAH. But I am still glad that we did not get Aso. Midswat is right, that in we would have won the division, but I doubt that we would have advanced as far as the Giants have. I want more than just winning the division.
