Its eons better under Wade than it ever was under Parcells & Zimmer, but it still isnt as good as I think it outta be with the guys we have.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I bet if I put together a three year total of sacks and QB pressures, the Cowboys would be in the top 10 on that list. Maybe top 5.

we're not at the top of either of those lists this yr...which is absolutely mind boggling considering the players we have and the two teams we've played

Our 3-4 has never been confusing. Ware is coming 70% of the time and Spencer is coming 40% of the time. The ILBs will come about 10% of the time so you don't worry much about them.

They almost always use the same blitzes too...not very hard to figure out

Last week I saw Ware and Spencer line up on the same side one time, the first time in forever I can remember seeing a formation like that...the play resulted in a sack, then we never saw it again

I'm more concerned with the offense than I am with the defense.

I think the defense will figure it out.

A Ravens 3-4 is dominating. Stealers 3-4? Dominating.

Dallas's 3-4? Is just a 3-4, nothing special. The defense has got a pass for many years because of the offense and the big names on it.

You just described confusion. The offense has to guess who is coming when. You don't have that in a 4-3.

Gotta give the defense major credit yesterday for that performance. Still, a couple of breakdown and the last touchdown shouldn't of happened. Dominating defenses don't let that happen.

But, nonetheless, good solid game by the defense. Helped out the offense as well.

Oh, they are quite good enough. That has never been in question these past few years. But, I want more then just sacks and "holding" opponents to low scores. I want turnovers and their foot on the throats of the opposing teams even in a blowout.

Yeah, it was nice to see us get some turnovers.

Yeah, the coverage was pretty good. That can be a lethal weapon along with the pass rush.

Completely agree. I still can't stand the cushion they usually give the WR's, but, they all played well yesterday.

Both Parcells and Phillips love to play zone with the corners playing off. The trouble is most of our corners have been better at playing man coverage.
