The Dallas Cowboys are at a crossroads even before the 2016 season has kicked off.
Following Kellen Moore's injury do the Cowboys stick with the quarterbacks on their roster or do they go out and sign a veteran? Below are some of the options that the team could pursue. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to cast your vote on what Dallas should do.

Stick with what they've got
On the roster: Jameill Showers, Dak Prescott
Notable: Neither Prescott or Showers have appeared in an NFL game in their careers. Do the Cowboys stick with two unproven guys or roll the dice and bring in a veteran?
Josh McCown
Seasons: 13
Most recent NFL team: Cleveland Browns
Record as a starter: 18-39
Career stats: 77 games played (57 started) / 1,164-1,956 passing for 13,142 yards / 73 touchdowns, 63 interceptions
Notable: McCown is still under contract with the Browns so the Cowboys would have to trade for the quarterback. He's been on three different teams the last three years and is coming off a shortened season where he, brace yourselves Cowboys fans, had a broken collarbone. He had thrown for 12 touchdowns and just four interceptions with the Browns last year before being injured.
Tarvaris Jackson
Seasons: 9
Most recent NFL team: Seattle Seahawks
Record as a starter: 17-17
Career stats: 59 games played (34 started) / 640-1,073 passing for 7,263 yards / 39 touchdowns, 35 interceptions
Notable: Jackson hasn't appeared in more than five games in four of the last five seasons he's been in the NFL (with the lone time being in 2011 when he started 14 games with Seattle going 7-7).
He's recently been in the headlines for an arrest in June where he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he allegely drew a gun on a woman reported to be his wife, according to The Seattle Times. TMZ Sports reports that Jackson won't be charged in the incident.
Michael Vick
Seasons: 13
Most recent NFL team: Pittsburgh Steelers
Record as a starter: 61-51-1
Career stats: 143 games played (115 started) / 1,807-3,217 passing for 22,464 yards / 133 touchdowns, 88 interceptions
Notable: Vick has appeared on three different NFL rosters over the last three seasons, starting no more than six games in that span. He doesn't have a winning record in any of the last three seasons as a starter going 2-4 with Philadelphia, 1-2 with the New York Jets and 1-1 with the Steelers.
Vick was eventually benched in favor of Nick Foles, Geno Smith and Landry Jones.
He also has more turnovers than touchdowns in those last three seasons (10 touchdowns to 13 turnovers).
Josh Freeman
Seasons: 7 seasons
Most recent NFL team: Indianapolis Colts
Record as a starter: 25-36
Career stats: 62 games played (61 started) / 1,179-2,048 passing for 13,873 yards / 81 touchdowns, 68 interceptions
Notable: The former first-round pick has had a very up-and-down career. His rookie year was a struggle throwing for 10 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. He bounced back to have his best year as a pro tossing 25 touchdowns to just six interceptions. Then the cycle started all over again. He had a negative touchdown-to-interception ratio in 2011 and followed it up throwing for more than 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2012.
Here's how Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel described Freeman's fallout with Tampa Bay.
"In 2013, it all fell apart. Freeman admitted he overslept and missed the team picture. It was later revealed he wasn't named/voted a team captain. Freeman was eventually benched and released in October, and picked up by Minnesota.
"But that didn't go well. Freeman made one ugly start and missed the rest of the season with concussion-like symptoms. Vikings players alleged he wasn't properly prepared.
"Freeman signed with the Giants in April 2014, but was released one month later and sat out the entire 2014 season."
Since his 4,000-yard season he's spent time with the Giants, Dolphins, Vikings, the Buccaneers (again), and the Colts.
T.J. Yates
Seasons: 5
Most recent NFL team: Houston Texans
Record as a starter: 4-3
Career stats: 18 games played (7 started) / 132-227 passing for 1,534 yards / 6 touchdowns, 8 interceptions
Notable: Yates' year was lost last season due to an ACL tear. Even though he doesn't have too many starts under his belt, he does have something that most quarterbacks on this list don't have: a victory in an NFL playoff game. Yates did collect a postseason win when the Texans topped the Bengals 31-10 in the 2011 playoffs when he was a rookie. His team would lose the next game to the Ravens while Yates threw three interceptions.
Since those playoffs he's played sporadically with the Texans and the Atlanta Falcons.
Other notable free agents
Matt Flynn: He's bounced around the league since signing that big free-agent deal with the Seahawks. Did not start any games last season.
Jimmy Clausen: Appeared in games for both Baltimore and Chicago last season combining to throw two touchdowns and four interceptions. He's had only one season where he's thrown more TDs than INTs in his career (2014).
Tim Tebow: Hey, he's won a playoff game before. The last time he suited up for a game was with the New York Jets in 2012.
