in two weeks we could have the worst record in the nfc. IN two weeks we could be alone in first in the nfc east.

pretty much no one has a solid read on which road we will take because the team is all over the place.

Our hopes for a WC spot are already damn near out the window.

By no means am I suggesting this season is over, because sure, we are right in the thick of things MATEMATICALLY. The only problem is, our brand of football isn't conducive to winning in today's game.

I agree w this. I've even created a tread indicating so.

However, it's been 5 games.. We have shown ZERO ability to rush the passer in all 5 games. Why will that change going forward? That's the only thing that matters from this point on. If our pass rush improves, so will our W-L record, if it doesn't then we are in line for another 8 win season.

I've seen nothing to suggest our pass rush will get better.

If you only look decent in comparison to other under-performing teams in the league, you're in trouble. Here's a novel idea: instead of sneaking into the playoffs and relying on an "anything can happen/hope for the best" mentality, build a team that is legitimately good. I know, I know: that's asking too much from the current regime.
