Yep. He has gone from low first round pick to top 10 guy in the last few months. I still feel he's a top 15 to 25 guy.

Meanwhile, DeCastro has been up there the whole time.

Barron likely would have been up there the whole time too, if not for the injury that delayed his workout. There are some reports that he has actually played with the thing for almost two years by the way.

dbair. It's likely that Barron hasn't moved up significantly on teams' boards, or some team's boards, in awhile. He didn't do anything particularly outstanding in his workout. At best, justified what they were already seeing on tape.

I've made my peace with Barron at 14. Although I'd prefer him around 18 to 20. I realize he's a hot commodity right now and won't last that long, it's just where I feel he belongs.

Barron is an upgrade at Strong Safety, I can't deny that. The problem is that puts Sensabaugh back at Free, which I think is a horrible outcome for us.

or the guy can cover and is an absolute stud..or we get rid of Sensy and find a FS later

I dunno, I say running mid 4.5's just a couple months after double hernia surgery opened some eyes

Yes, but I don't think it jumped him to top 6 on some teams' boards.

More than likely, he's been there for awhile.

Probably true, but there were always some questioning his speed and I think running that fast when he obviously couldnt have been anywhere near 100% (they said he was about 80% or so) really put people at ease more

I've liked him fro a couple years now. Love DeCastro too as well as Fletcher Cox. We get any of those 3 at 14 and I'm pretty thrilled.

I do like some of the other guys mentioned too though. Like Cordy Glenn alot. I like Brockers fine. Not sure what I think about Kirkpatrick at 14 though.

1. Cox
2. DeCastro
Trade down
3. Ingram
4. Coples
5. Poe

I know that Cox, Ingram and even Coples and Poe could go top 13 but someone has to slip. Reaches, trade up's, Luck, RG3, Richardson, Claiborne, Kalil, Blackmon, hopefully Floyd and Tannehill getting drafted, means some players are going to slide to us.

If Cox and Barron were both there, I'd probably take Fl Cox, but otherwise agree with you

You like Mercilus that much? Otherwise, that's a really good list.

Yeah, I can't shake the Aldon Smith feeling I get with him. Not necessarily think they are the same player, but I think he could have near the same level of production as a rookie. Him as our 3rd OLB would just be murder.
