What were the expectations for the DC this year? Before the season the vast majority of us knew we were likely going to suffer through a miserable season again. The emotions of today and every week leading up to the clinching day was what humans consider to be the "Fun" about sporting events. I have lived a Cowboys fan since I witnessed Roger lead the DC back against the Niners when I was a lad. The incredible moments this franchise has given me has been a great part of my life. This season is what we should be grateful for because the hopes and dreams we have in our own lives parallels our team. Ups...downs....cursing......feelings hurt......more ups....and now relief that we don't suck. These are moments in time for enjoyment. Enjoy the NFL East championship and root for the DC in the playoffs with all your soul, for we don't know when we will enjoy another season like this again. If we happen to lose the first game in the playoffs.....curse for two minutes and then raise your glass and toast an enjoyable football season!!!

Life is Good Clark!

Romo's been best ever, I think he will be even better next year.

The team has exceeded my expectations this year. I underestimated both Romo's health, as well as how much the team would benefit from neutering Jason Garrett.

We're playing exceptional football right now. Offense looks dominant and the defense is playing inspired.

If we didn't make it to the NFC title game i'll be disappointed.

The NFC is dangerous. If we get Seattle or Green Bay in the 1st round, it's going to be tough. I'm hoping for Arizona in the 1st round. A playoff win should be the expectation but a competitive loss to Green Bay, Seattle, or even Detroit, is nothing to be ashamed of.

Thrilled beyond belief, I thought they'd be lucky to finish 6-10, especially after that start vs SF

Those tables sure did turn, am i right? Look at SF today. What a shambles.

Yes, you are and I couldn't be happier!

No iggles, no niners, no skins, no giants doesn't get much better than that

Nope.

Particularly delicious, it was we who eliminated the Iggles.

Expectations were low... I don't see how you could be honest with yourself and think anything other than that before the season started. We had so many question marks.

The concerns were all answered beyond any expectation, and the team has shown mental toughness I haven't seen in a Cowboys team since the early to mid 90s.

If we get Arizona at home -- this time with the tables turned (Romo playing and their backup/3rd/4th QB playing) -- we could be setting up for a deep playoff run. I actually have some faith in this team playing on the road. Just hope we don't have to go back up to Seattle.

EDIT: Looks like Arizona can't be the 6th seed. Nevermind.

+1 to all of the above.
We're poised for at least a shot at the big prize, and for that I couldn't be more pleased.

The Cowboys played the most impressive game that they have played in years against the Colts. It seems like they are peaking at just the right time. With that being said, I am scared that they will blow it in the playoffs. It is hard to overlook their past history.

I think the team just needs to handle adversity a little better. If Green Bay or Seattle comes out on fire, the defense needs to match the intensity. This defense rallies to the ball when things are going well. Yesterday's game and the Seattle game Week 6 are examples of this defense at its best.

What's status on #1 seed now that Arizona lost?

I think the Cowboys need Seattle and Arizona to lose.

Just curious, how do you feel about this team? You were rooting for the Cowboys to lose all season. What are your expectations currently?

Would it be poetic justice if we did go there, and it comes down to a game winning FG like it did last time we played a playoff game there, but this time we make it?

LOL

Only if Romo is the placeholder for the FG. No one wants that.
