You sure do love making excuses. Romo's pinky had nothing to do with these losses. Do you want to run down the list of games?

Not making an excuse at all Flower Boy. But yours and Wilbon's arguemnts are flawed. I'm jusat saying an equal case can be made for the opposite.

@Arizona: We fell behind from the opening kickoff (returned for TD) and cannot make a first down on our first four possessions (against a horrible defense!). Luckly we go into halftime tied at 7. We open the 2nd half with another TD drive to go up 14-7 but then, even though they haven't been on the field since 5 minutes to go in the first half, our defense gives out. Arizona scores on their next three drives and we blow it in overtime with a blocked punt.

Never said that game had anything to do with Romo's injury. That was the game he got injured it. Fact is, just because we lost to the Cardinals---the eventual NFC Champs, on the road---a game that we almost came back and won after being down, you trying to use that as an example of us not being a contdner? Ignorant.

@St Louis: How in the world did we allow these Rams to score 34 points? Oh yeah, our defense let Steven "I don't know where the fucking endzone is" Jackson score twice in the first quarter and blow right past them all game for 160 rush yards. Our defense blew this one in the first quarter and Brad never had the chance to win it. With the ugly way we beat Tampa the following week I know we should've won this one as well.

Maybe, just maybe with so many 3 and outs in that game due to the offense led by Brad Johnson, the defense naturally got tired. Or are you suggesting that had a HEALTHY Romo played, he would have been just as bad as Johnson? Ridiculous. That in itself would have potentially altered the outcome. The team certainly would have moved the ball more effectively and scored and therweby keeping the defense off the field for a bit to rest.

@Pittsburgh: We had this game won! We were up by 10 points with 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the Pittsburgh offense hadn't done anything all game. What happened? First a punt return to put the ball in field goal range, then 3& out and a TD drive and finally a pick-6 given up by Romo.

And that example right there is proof positive that we are not a contender because we gave up a 10 point lead against a very good Steelers team on the road, that eventually became the Super Bowl champs? Shit happens. 10 points with 9 minutes left AINT SHIT.

@Baltimore: Romo kept fighting and bringing us back in this one but the defense gave up the 77yd and 82yd TD runs to completely blow our chances at a comeback. Way to go Romo's pinky.

@Philadelphia: We didn't even show up for this game. Maybe because of Romo's pinky.

Whatever bitch. It was his pinky on his throwing finger. You can make light of it all you want, but it gave him problems all season long apparently.

Apparently?

Why is that apparent? Because it's convenient for a homer?

The conditions of the Pittsburgh game weren't conclusive to the Cowboy's passing attack. Very windy. Holland's injury, allowing Proctor to enter the game wasn't a good thing either. Then we had the defensive collapse. The Baltimore and Philly games being a continuation of that theme.

When almosts start counting as wins your arguement will be valid. This game in itself isn't the example, it is the five games we screwed up on when winning just one game would've had us in the playoffs.

Do you not remember this game at all? We gave up 21 points in the FIRST QUARTER, which was already an insurmountable lead for our Brad Johnson led offense. But go ahead and blame it on the three and outs, of which we only had one before their third touchdown. Yeah, our defense was so tired on that opening drive they couldn't stop the Rams of all teams from driving the field.

And that example right there is proof positive that we are not a contender because we gave up a 10 point lead against a very good Steelers team on the road, that eventually became the Super Bowl champs? Shit happens. 10 points with 9 minutes left AINT SHIT.

So it is okay for a contender to give up a 10 point lead on the road to lose a game? No, that is a situation where contenders protect the ball and win the game. Once again you are just making up excuses.

LOL! When your only defense is to start talking like Lindsey Lohan in a bad movie I know I've already won. While his performance dipped some, Romo's pinky didn't stop him from throwing 250 yards per game and certainly didn't blow our attempted comeback versus the Ravens. Maybe it was the tired defense again, they were on the field for more than 2 minutes afterall.

Come back and talk to me when you quit throwing shit and actually want to talk about football.
