So you admit then pretty much that Maclin will have the better career.

Oh, but Jackson is still holding on to that "number 1 on the depth chart" tag that means oh so much in terms of production, so that's good.

lol

I admit nothing. I don't know. Jackson could break in half in three years and the inferior Maclin could play another 10. It's possible.

But since I never said that, that will be the last time I address it. I'll stick to what was actually said. Whatever happens in the future doesn't mean a damn thing to the recent past and the present.

Me - Jackson is the lead WR for the Eagles.

You - No. Maclin is.

Care to back off from that laughably incorrect statement? It's as idiotic as somebody telling me Jon Kitna is the Cowboys starting QB.

Bud.. we get it. Jackson is number 1 on the depth chart. Maclin is number 2 on the depth chart.

It really doesn't matter a whole heck of alot in terms of production and consistency.. in both those terms, Maclin was clearly better last season, and will continue to be throughout both of their careers.

I see.

Teams always put the lesser WR 1st on the depth chart.

The #2s are where it's really at.

I hate it when they hold a man down like that.

Yada yada yada.. again, Maclin was more productive and consistent last year and will continue to be throughout both men's careers. Put him at number 13 on the depth chart, because i guarentee he's more worried about the numbers that matter on the field.

Whatever production he's gotten came off of the attention paid to the true lead WR on the team.

No DC was staying up at night worrying about containing Jeremy Maclin. He's not the focal point.

Just because he isn't the focal point doesn't mean he's not a legit threat and someone that other teams worry about.

It really all comes down to this.. Maclin was and will continue to be the more consistent and productive WR over the course of both of their careers. Bottom line. Nothing else needs to be said.

I'm willing to bet money on that, are you?

I would never bet money on Jackson's ability to have a long career. Since I never believed he'd even make it in the NFL as a receiver with that frame.

But I'll bet you every cent I have that he's the Eagles lead receiver and best receiver the last two seasons. Which, despite your efforts, is exactly what I said and what you disagreed with.

lol Yup, knew you wouldn't take the bet. You can talk all you want, but you know who the better WR is and who will have the better career when its all said and done.

You'd lose that bet.. because Maclin had the better year last season.

You knew I wouldn't take a bet that had absolutely nothing to do with anything I've ever said?

You got me.

I know who the better WR is. The great DeSean Jackson. The Eagles' lead WR.

Do I know who will play longer in the league? No. Hence no bet.

Its wise not to bed, since you'd have already lost one. The best WR on the Eagles team last year was the most productive one. Maclin. Not the guy who showed up one game and then disappeared for 3 or 4 games.

You need to notify the Eagles then. They haven't caught on to your brilliance.

While you're at it, let the entire NFL world know too. lol

Im pretty sure the Eagles know who was more productive for them last season. Anyway, this topic is stale.

Again, Maclin is the better all around WR, and will have the better career when its all said and done, i'd bet anything on it. That's really all there is to it.

If they knew, he'd be the #1. But he's not. Because the Eagles know, as the NFL world knows, that DeSean Jackson is the premier offensive player on their roster. He's the guy who commands all the attention. He's the guy you have to contain and hope inferior talents, like...say....Jeremy Maclin, won't make you pay for it.

I don't care what all there is to it in your retarded mind. This all started with my correct statement that Jackson is and has been the best WR in the division over the last two years.

He is and he has been.

You've attempted to change that into who will have the longer career. Doesn't matter to me. It's completely irrelevant to my original statement.

Sure it's correct. You can pretend it's not, if it makes you feel better but we all know Jackson has been the best the last couple of years.

Better career doesn't have anything to do with being the best in 2009 and 2010. Another irrelevant comment.

But as long as Jackson holds up physically, he'll be the better player. He's simply more talented. Maclin is inferior.

Now tell me again how Maclin is actually the Eagles' lead receiver.

It certainly doesn't.

Jackson wasn't the best in the division in 2010, and Maclin will have the better career. Two completely seperate statements.

You have nothing to qualify your statements that Jackson was the best in the division in 2010 other than "he was the best goddang it."

Consequently, there is no debate here.

Well it's an opinion.

If you want to go there, there is no best at any position. Somebody's always gonna have a different opinion.

But this is homer idiotic nonsense. A Cowboys moron who can't tip his hat to true greatness, so he pretends a less threatening inferior player like Maclin is the better talent.

You see, if Maclin is the better talent, then it's easier for Dez to become the best. That's what's going on here. Jackson threatens Dez. A ham and egger like Maclin doesn't.

Last I checked the NFL writers agreed with me in their offseason poll. Jackson being the only NFC East WR included in their top 10 list. So that's their opinion too.

Clayton just said Maclin clearly works in the shadows of Jackson. The Eagles true lead receiver. He's the John Taylor to Jackson's Jerry Rice. That means that's his opinion too.

It is such common knowledge that this whole thing has forever labeled you the board idiot. You arrived here telling us the NFL owners didn't honor the CBA contract. A glaring show of ignorance of the situation. You followed it up by pretending the Eagles offense revolves around Jeremy Maclin.

And for dessert you're now telling us Donovan McNabb isn't in decline.

lol X 3.

I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Ah.. so its an opinion, yet you keep trying to pass it off as fact. lol

This isn't homer, idiotic nonsense. This is about production being the thing that matters most in the NFL and the man who outproduced Jackson last year.

You can keep telling me who you think is the best until you're blue in the face bud.. i'll keep taking the guy who produced consistently for his team last year. Maclin.
