Parcells could sit his fat ass down on some of your faces, take a huge runny smelly shit all over your noses and some of you would proclaim "well, thats really doesnt stink so bad"

its kind of like debating whether or not a story is true about aikman-jimmy when given the story in direct quotes from troy aikman wouldnt you say?

It's the truth, Dbair.

Garrett has been average at best with a team filled with "talent", brought in by your "GM".

Yet he can't do a fucking thing with it.

But!!!! Bill Parcells is the coach with no clue.

and another thing, if witten falls forward two more feet we never even have this discussion.

we would have moved on to the bears and to this day I think we were built to beat them and think we would have. dont think we had the parts to beat the saints though.

if they didnt overrule witten on that first down we win that game.

According to people like you, there isnt much talent here.

And Garrett's record so far is pretty much on par with what Parcells' was. And Parcells had 4 years, and got just about everything he wanted.

Probably, but in reality the game probably shouldnt have been close to begin with.

Our offense, specifically the passing game was a huge mismatch for us in our favor, and the coaches chose to play as close to the vest as possible.

again, they sat in cover 4 begging us to run which is what you always ignore. they played the pass the whole game knowing our passing game would go crazy if they took chances......are running game simply scared no one. Against the bears it was the opposite.

That is why talent and GM was in quotations.

We have some really good players, even a few great ones, mostly thanks to Billy Parcells.

Garrett may eventually get it, lord knows Jerry isn't going to fire his ass anytime soon. He's learning on the job. He's not a quality head coach right now, IMO. Maybe something will spark for the guy.

He'll have to overcome the dysfunction in the front office, but it could happen.

I was a Garrett guy his whole time as offensive coordinator, he didn't have a good enough offensive line to run his offense the last two years as OC, and he doesn't have one now. That doesn't excuse his poor clock/game management.

if it were that easy, everyone would have done it

and they were doing it with lesser played

the previous two games the eagles and lions did similar things avoiding the big play. Romo turned the ball over and we lost both games.....

its what they did, they knew they were outmatched and just didnt give up the big play in the air. One of the spots to beat that was down the middle and we did with a huge play to witten and of course he fumbled.

the bears hit a big play over the top for a td, we hit one down the middle to witten he fumbles...

what can you do? its why we lost.

I'll even say this. If Parcells is coaching the Saints in 2012, that team is not making the playoffs.

Not sure why the Saints aren't looking at potential in-house candidates.

I get why you wouldn't look for the D, since that's a new staff. But let the O-Coordinator, or Oline coach, or someone else carry that Interim tag.

You would want Steve Spagnuolo coaching your franchise?

I think they could make the playoffs, but one of Parcells' biggest weaknesses here became game planning on offense and defense. We were outcoached alot, and the primo example of that was his last game vs Seattle.

I highly doubt they'd have any postseason success with Parcells there.

Drew Brees could run the O like Peyton Manning did for the Colts.
