i do know that the team likes a baylor nt jeanbaptist and plan on targeting him if hes not drafted.

Covered this before. They offered Pool a deal, but he wanted to stay with the NYJ. From what was posted he took less money to go back there.

Never saw where it was less money to stay there. And that doesn't make sense anyway. Why would a guy say no, forget that 2.5 mil, I'm good with the minimum? :sbk92

Welp, I screwed up that post. Obviously it was less money... 800k (or whatever vet min is) < 2.5 mil .

My point was really that I doubt we actually liked him more than Elam. If we did, we'd have offered him the same deal Elam got.

And Pool may not be very smart, but no way does he take a 2/3 pay cut -- well over 1.5 million -- to stay in New York.
