if you want offense in this draft you'll be disappointed.
rob ryan has been pushing hard for defensive line help. dont be suprised when the cowboys take two defensive ends by the end of the third round.
first round will be a de unless cox and brockers are both gone. team loves coples ahead of them but in all the mocks theyve run in house hes off the board by 14. they know two teams really love him and will snatch him if he falls to them. dont know which ones.
if no coples, cox, or brockers, then jerry will work the phones and try to trade back. between cox and brockers, dont know team preference.
team loves decastro but this is a deep guard class and they dont feel its as big a need after free agency. callahan really likes the kid from carolina and team thinks they mightve stole him.
ryan also has a lot more confidence in brodney poole than abe elam, but he also went to bat heavy for elam last year and jerry and jason werent impressed, hence the one year deal.
mark barron is visiting but thats mostly due diligence. they like the player, but theyre dedicating a lot of resources to looking at second and third tier safety prospectes that can be had in the middle rounds.
jerry loves poe. my dad and some other scouts disagree wholeheartedly.
go cowboys!
