Obviously Carson is just a poor-hating racist.

Weighing in on President Obama's so-called "charm offensive," Dr. Carson said, "It is interesting that there's been a rather abrupt change in his demeanor, from blaming everybody to reaching out. "It's a good change," Dr. Carson continued, "I'm very happy to see it, but obviously the proof is in the pudding."

When asked about Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-WI) tax proposals, Dr. Ben Carson said, "We have to be cognizant of whether we in fact want to be a nation where we rule our own lives, or whether we have the government invading every aspect of our life. This is a very, very serious issue and I think a lot of people are asleep at the wheel and we have to keep sounding the alarm until people recognize that we're giving away the freedoms of our nation."

Video at link where he actually say's it...

So cutting medicare and foodstamps while keeping HSA, NSA and defense funding is relevant to freedoms? FFS

It is literally the same proposals complete with ambiguous loopholes as the last thing he put out under the same name.

I liked the Godfather's pizza guy they trotted out for the aging boomers better.

Well you'd think someone who remains true to his vision would be considered reliable. Do you prefer people who waffle and throw shit against a wall hoping something will stick? Sounds like a calculated plan.

There are two ways to go, one might be painful but beneficial in the long run, the other is just plain dumb. Remember, Obama was re-elected on social and hot button issues; playing up the Robin Hood angle very well. Bottom up spending isn't going to work. How exactly does bottom up spending aid an economy? Taking from one to give to another is simply moving shit around, it's not growing anything and the people you're taking from eventually will get fed up when they realize their work is in vain, because there is the human element in all of this. I've got news for you, the Romney's of the world aren't really hurt by higher taxes, the middle class are. The phony tax the rich nonsense hasn't materialized but my paycheck sure has gone down.

But he wants to give the grrls condoms! (on my dollar :orly)

well if a neurosurgeon who thinks a flat tax is a good idea says this works, who am I to argue. It's not like tons of economists (not neurosurgeons, but still) came out when Ryan released this bullshit the previous twenty times and roundly denounced it.

I wonder why that is. Could it be because every single tax the rich nonsense that's been brought before congress has been shot down by republicans?

nah...

Tons of economists? Well if a bunch of economists are supporting a bottom up economy plan, you can rest assured they're not doing their titles justice.

Unchecked spending always leads to prosperity. True story.

No. Because they have all the money.
And if the response is to take from the middle class, I'm not sure we're getting disconnected.

No it's because Republicans were elected on a platform of not allowing taxes to be raised on "job creators"

so don't be so fucking surprised when washington's compromise (because half the country is too stupid to vote in their own interest and have bought the propaganda of the "job creators" hook, line and sinker) was to increase the tax on their largest base.

fuckwits.

well then thank god you elected people who would prefer to block legislation and tax you rather than the people who can actually afford it.

A proper reading of that would have led you to understand it better.
Taxing the rich doesn't hurt them, taxing the middle class does. The proper response isn't to take it out on the middle class, because you want to punish the rich.

I'm not sure where forcing Obamacare on a nation is somehow correlated with not being able to tax the rich some more. That's why the budget plan calls for getting rid of this shit heap of a plan. Our economy is downgraded and shitty, and this dope thinks more government bureaucracy is the proper thing at this time. And since he can't make the rich pay for this garbage, it's you and me.

Wait until you feel it. Have fun in the meantime.

Noone wants to hurt/punish the rich.

I'm already feeling it. The difference is that I, unlike you, understand who is responsible for taxing us rather than them. And I didn't vote for them. We could make the rich pay for it, but someone voted for people who ran on the premise that we would rather do ANYTHING but that. And blocked any legislation to that end.

Someday you'll grow up and figure it out.

Clearly you are a product of crappy public education that has force feed you the Keynesian line of crap and you swallowed it hook line and whatever else you like to swallow.

Explain how higher taxes on small businesses will help job creation? Explain how higher taxes on medical equipment will lower medical costs. I'll wait...

explain how red herrings are terrible debate tactics

So you can not explain how higher taxes on small businesses and the medical industry will help? That's what I thought. Now you can shut the fuck up and go back to the rest stop bathroom you crawled out of since you are clueless about the damage the policies you support do in the real world.

Your response deserved no response. I advocated one thing, your response was "EXPLAIN HOW SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT IS GOOD"

Learn to discuss things in a linear, logical, rational manner or kindly fuck off.
