You're nitpicking pretty hard BB. His defender never had a chance to cause any harm on play 1 or 2..I didn't watch his reps in the 2H..that whiff is legit poor play. First two, not so much.

he didn't stand his ground. one more second and he would have been in Tony's lap. that doesn't make him a bad pick (duh), but it's important to evaluate him in his totality.

No. You're correct. He didn't stand his ground. First one more than the second one. But in neither case was he pushed into tonys lap. In both cases, and not just on those specific plays, but on your average play, that's good enough protection (enough time) for the QB to get rid of the ball

Pretty easy to see that when Romo has been in the games for the most part, the middle of the OL hasn't collapsed back into him play after play. He's had a ton of time to throw on most pass attempts.

But hey BB if it peels your banana to nit pick about a few plays from a rookie who has obviously made a positive difference in what had been a epic bad OL, you go right ahead.

yeah, um, I only posted that video upon request. "real" fans don't ignore problem areas, no matter how popular a player may be. try not to take Fred's shortcomings so personally.

Its not shortcomings dude, he's a f'in rookie.

He isn't going to stone every opposing player every single play.

"Rookie inexperience" has nothing to do with it. I'm talking about getting physically dominated at the point of attack, not forgetting the snapcount.
