And the way that Garrett and Jerry Jones responded to his play in offseason practices and preseason speaks a lot to the ability that they see in Arkin, even though he was inactive all year. Which was probably the by-product of him needing a lot of strength work and which they all knew heading into last season.

http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2011/10/cowboys-knew-og-david-arkin-wa.htmlGarrett stressed that does not mean the club is down on his (Arkin's) potential.

"There are a lot of things we liked about him intangibly,'' Garrett said. "He's a tough guy, he loves to play football. Physically, we feel like he has the traits as well, but it's going to be a process.

"Different guys are more NFL ready when they come out and you have to understand what they're timeline is.''

http://thelandryhat.com/2011/05/01/nfl-draft-2011-jason-garrett-discusses-day-three-picks/David Arkin:“He played some of the all star games, and we really liked him. He has the measureables. We liked the tenacity with which he plays. He has some position flexibility. He’s one of those guys when you watch him play, he jumps out at you. The way he finishes the plays, how physically and aggressively he plays. He has the measureables to play a couple of different spots on the offensive line.”

http://network.yardbarker.com/nfl/a..._of_plusses_against_denver_jones_says/6136846“I don’t want to get specific, but Arkin was real impressive out here the other night,” Jones said. “He had a lot of plusses…We expect him to get better. A lot of teams in this league are looking for starters as well as Arkin is playing.”

They spent a 4th rounder on him. What are they going to say? Geez... you're really this... nevermind.

Ok, we've established that Arkin and Nagy fit into the future plans of the line. You think they'll be nothing more than backups and I think there is something to each of them.

Has it been established? What do you expect them to say? You're so damn easy. And who gives a fuck what you think, it's not like you've watched either one of the, especially Arkin, since he hasn't played. You haven't watched Kowalski, but you've come to the conclusion that he will not amount to anything, you haven't watched Nagy, and yet are of the opinion that he will, and Arkin has not even played. Bitch, just shut the fuck up.

I don't expect the coaches to say anything about them at this point. However, I can tell you what I expect them to do, and that is to give them the requisite 3 years to prove themselves. Kowalski included. I doubt Nagy is going to just be handed the starting LG position again, and I wouldn't have it that way anyways. All of our youngs on the line are going to have to continue to work and fight for the chance to start.
