Sean Lee expects to stay at weakside linebacker, says knee is 100 percent: 'It felt great today'
By Kate Hairopoulos

OXNARD, Calif. -- Linebacker Sean Lee said that for now he expects to stay at the weakside position despite middle linebacker Rolando McClain's 10-game suspension and absence from camp.

Lee is coming off his first Pro Bowl season. He did not participate in offseason practices because he underwent arthroscopic left knee surgery in April.

"Knee is 100 percent," he said. "It felt great today."

Lee said that playing a full 16-game schedule for the first time in his seven-year career is the goal.

"I'm working to do that, working to play at a higher level," he said. "I expect more out of myself this year. It was a frustrating year, going 4-12. Being able to find a way to get wins in the fourth quarter, causing more turnovers, that's something we need to do, have to do."

Dallas forced 11 takeaways last season, which tied the NFL record for fewest in a season.
