You're preaching to the choir my friend. I knew he wasn't the guy for a long time. Even before he was re-signed. I've been saying he's way to inconsistent to be a championship QB....that he can't carry the team through the storm when the chips are down. The problem is now the D is going to get watered down as FA's leave. An average QB like Cooper Rush can be competitive behind this D. This was the year and it was wasted. We might not get an opportunity like this for a few years down the road unless we find a true franchise guy.
He didn't even need to carry the team yesterday.

All he had to do yesterday is just NOT be the other team's best player.

And he sucked ass.

Yeah Dak, I think we will too.

As soon as you are not the QB for said game/s.

He just isnt capable.

Guy reads defenses at a kindergarten level compared to the really quality QB's in this league.

And he's reverted to dinking and dunking. Everyone plays close the LOS because they know, chances are, Dak won't beat them deep. Like the Tweet you made earlier about TY being open. He just can't see it. He just can't read a D. he rarely goes through his progressions. He knows before the ball is snapped where he's going to throw it, come hell or high water. And even then he throws it late.

This basically takes away the screens and the run game. SF reverted to what always works in these types of games....make Dak beat you. And he just can't consistently carry the team.

Even Parsons sees the issue now.

Without saying "it", he said the QB stunk it up again.

McCaffrey gained just 35 yds on 10 carries and caught 6 balls for just 22 yards.

Samuel had 4 carries for 11 yards and just 4 catches for 45 yards.

Which would have been fine, had he not thrown the ridiculous picks.

On the first one he could have just "dinked" to a WIDE OPEN Elliott in the flat (who was even on the same side as where he threw the terrible pick). On the 2nd one, he threw into double coverage (again)

Dude just can't read a defense to save his life and makes the same bush league mistakes over and over and over.

He ended up throwing 17 picks in 14 games this year, and that number EASILY could have been 25 or even 30.

Chiefs traded the 27th pick, a 3rd rd pick and their 2018 1st to get to #10 overall and draft Mahomes.

Just sayin.

Jeri & spawn are too smart to resort to nonsense like that

its just a damn shame the last time they tried, they whiffed on trading up for Paxton Lynch

Yeah so glad that one didn't work, just like the Manziel nonsense.

But I'd be all in on moving into the top-10 for CJ Stroud or Will Levis, although either one of them could end up going #1 overall (which we wouldn't have the ammo to get to anyway)

A lot of people love Bryce Young but I think he is just too small.

Unfortunately several teams in the top-10 obviously need QB's, so us getting Stroud or Levis is probably a pipe dream at best.

Agree on Bryce Young. Too small and lacks the arm. But someone will over pay.....

Peter King speaking the truth.

Goat of the week

Dak Prescott, quarterback, Dallas.
Prescott had a rough go in another early playoff exit for the Cowboys, throwing two first-half interceptions, one of which came in the red zone with the Cowboys looking to take the lead, and both of which led to San Francisco field goals. Those six points were felt in a defensive battle that ended 19-12, and there could have been more if the Niners had been able to haul in additional errant passes that bounced off their hands. The Cowboys haven’t been to the NFC Championship game in almost 30 years, and Brock Purdy owns as many playoff wins as Dak Prescott.
