So the Eagles have lost Abriami for the season already, and potentially Mike Patterson as well.

But it's okay. They're the dream team.

I will give them this: They were smart enough to plan ahead and sign the cat from the Saints and Derek Landri to add depth to the d-line

I want to see Michael Vick go down. But it's all cool and stuff, they have Vince Young.

Obviously their season depends on injuries, so if they get hit with the injury bug then they ain't going anywhere.

BUT as a completely healthy team... I can see why the media has them as the favorites. Vick isn't near as bad as you say he is. He still makes a tremendous amount of plays with his feet whether its scrambling or buying time. Ronnie Brown is still a productive back to pair with McCoy. DeSean can still get deep and make plays on ST. Their Oline is probably better than ours. Their LBers aren't near as bad as everyone is trying to paint them as. Not great but not horrific either... Probably the weakness on the team but I like Chaney and Casey Mathews, and they are switching to a Cover 2. Cole and Babin along with Tapp create pressure. Jenkins was a great signing, Patterson is the big question mark, if he's healthy he's a beast. If not, then that might be their hole.

Honestly tho, I think the Giants steal the division... We'll be fighting for the wild card.

I find it interesting that the Eagles trade away Kolb and yet have not extended Vick. Say what you want about Jerry, but he does take care of his player as in the ones he drafted and has performed well, even to a fault. You really cannot say the same for the Eagles. Other than McNabb, the Eagles never really took care of their own drafted players, but rather would pay free agents more. And now it may come to bite them in the ass in the form of Jackson. I would love to see how that developes. They want to throw all this money at Nnamdi and Jenkins and others, and yet seemingly try to play hardball with Jackson.

They got a former Olien coach that will be calling the defensive plays. You can have all the players you want, but it still coems down to playcalling and that is on the coaches.

That Oline coach head butted a player Monday and busted open his head because he was trying to make a point for the kid to keep his head up. Hilarity ensued!

Michael Vick will come back down to earth. He's a mental ******. A shitty QB too.

Shiek, it did look like the "how to beat vick" blue print was out about week 14 or so. I'm not sure they can count on him having such a pro bowl season this year.

Yeah.

If I were a D coord., I'd have my guys moving constantly before the snap. Just confuse guy, shouldn't be hard. He doesn't strike me as a guy that can handle too much thinking before the snap.

Moving the Chains reports that Clayton didn't keep his head up during a drill, causing Castillo to get in his face and give him the ol' Zidane. The encounter left the helmetless coach with a cut on his forehead.

You could say that about every team, but I think the Eagles are more likely to suffer injuries, for the reasons I stated.

The only people that have a problem with this move (oline coach to DC) are those who think they know it all and more than an NFL head coach (Andy Reid of all coaches).

Vick has never missed many games to injury, and he's always been a scrambler. DeSean Jackson has never missed more than 2 games a yr during his NFL career and has never had a history with injuries. This dates back to college.

Mono last 7 weeks, roughly. Not an entire season.

Outside of the freak injury I don't see how they're more acceptable to injuries than the rest of the NFL.

You don't see how a north of 30 5'11", 195 QB with a propensity towards scrambling, or a 160lb (if that) receiver are more likely to suffer injuries?

Really?
