I am sure everyone here remembers the outcry surrounding the Patriot Act...Funny how when Obama on steroids does the same thing and worse and there is silence. It is Ok for the government to take our income and use it to purchase weapons and give those weapons to narco terrorists yet a semi-auto weapon in the hands of law abiding citizens is evil. Up is down and down is up. Bunch of freaking hypocrites.

Yeah, on the one hand, the drivers are kind of being dicks. Haven't been to one of those stops for years, but if memory serves, they just ask a few questions and you're on your way.

That said, I applaud the people for standing up for their rights. Especially when they're like "Can you go to that other lane for inspection" and they're all FU, No thanks. Bye.

This past Tuesday I saw 6 Border Patrol vehicles chase down a guy who blew thru a checkpoint.
We had to stop and wait for the take down,but they made sure we left the area immediately.
I'm guessing someone or everyone in that car got their asses handed to them.
Plenty of rumors that getting the shit kicked out of you is pretty common in these cases.
Never seen it myself though.

Did you ever read Hostile's story when he was an EMT in Arizona and would respond to emergencies in Mexico? A guy blew past him as he was standing on the side of the street, almost running over his foot. The Mexican police chased the driver down, beat him up, then brought him to Hostile. They handed Hostile an M16 to shoot him. He didn't, of course.
