Well, you're not going to understand it, Dbair. You think everyone is an all-star on this team.

Ware is considered by most to be the best defensive player in the league. Sean Lee was just voted defensive player of the month, and is coming off yet another monster game. Might be the best ILB in football this yr. Ratliff is consistently voted one of the leagues most disruptive DT's, and has been to multiple probowls. Newman and Jenkins are very good CB's who are both playing excellent football again. Spears is a solid player. Spencer has clearly been an up and down guy, but many pointed to him the 2nd half of 2009 as one of the reasons our defense rose to a higher level, and he was a dominant player the 2nd half of that yr. Seems to being playing pretty good football again.

To suggest the defense is somehow devoid of talent is kinda lame. Even Ryan himself is saying this is by far the most talent he's ever coached.

I give Parcells credit for finding Austin. I remember reading an article waaay back when we first got him and Parcells said that we might have something with him. He was right.

Owens was a great player before JG got here as was Witten, regardless of stats... No reaching, Dbair.

So what if he found him? The fact is he was an afterthought until Garrett came here.

Owens was a great player and Witten was very good. Owens had one of his best years ever in 2007 though and Witten has been at an altogether different level since Garrett arrived.

lol at this entire post.

I never said this defense didn't have talent.. Obviously there are a few players that stand out. And to say this is the most talented defense Ryan has ever coached isn't saying much. You realize that, right? Probably not.

In comparison to the New England Patriots offense Ryan did GREAT with what we have on defense. Does that sound any better to you than how I originally worded it? Again, probably not.

Thats exactly what it looked like you were suggesting, which is why I questioned you on it. Read what you wrote. It clearly insinuates you think the defense had no business being able to match up with New England. "he did a great job vs NE, especially considering some of the players we have on defense".

He's also gave his opinions on a number of players here, and believes alot of them to be high level players.

Do you think he would ever tell the media how he really feels about some of our players here? Like, for example, do you think he would say our safeties our garbage to the media?

Speaking of Dez.. apparently Jerry came out on the ticket radio show today and criticized his route running, saying that's why he doesn't get the ball in the 2nd half.

In other news.. Jerry still doesn't get it, and never will.

So according to Jones Dez catches passes in the first half, which means he must be running routes ok.

Then at halftime he forgets what he is supposed to do, and thats why he doesnt get passes thrown his way.

And of coruse after the game the other day he was telling everyone what the 1992 Cowboys did vs SF and saying we should have done the same, even though this team and this QB is nothing like that team.

Stevie needs to push the mute button for Jerry.

Do you give Parcells credit for finding Romo? Actually, that was more of Payton finding Romo. And actually it was Garrett's brother that found Austin. Garrett knew of Austin before Parcells.

LOL. You say he's an idiot, and then you end the sentence with the bolded. And that's not a typo, because you added an apostrophe as a contraction and not in the possessive. LOL.

And thank God that you don't have as high a post count as dbair. I don't think this board can take that much stupidity in print
Schlitz beer avatar..? Really..?? You should probally be keeping an eye on that trailor trash daughter instead of spending so much time on the forum huh Hos...? LOL. And that was no typo douche.

He was playign ome before that, he ended up starting because of an injury at that particular time. Doesnt mean he wouldnt have ever earned his starting job eventually.

And it doesnt change what I stated, that Austin has produced bigtime at WR while Garrett was running the offense.

You're saying Austin wouldn't be what he is today had Parcells stayed?

OK if you're not then what is your point about Garrett being here when Austin has produced big for us?

Did you read the original retarded post in this thread? If so, it should be self explanatory.

lol Wow.

Who knows what he would have done. If you know that then why not share some other useful info with us, like winning lotto numbers

Oh man that "you're" did u in here. They're correct.

Garrett has some issues...particuarly in the redzone. He also has had some game management hiccups, but I think he can get it together. The Rams game should be a thorough ass-kicking and I'm sure he's learning from all these mistakes. Dez was playing great for a bit last season and seems to have regressed. We'll see what happens.

It's def. not as fun to bash Garrett in a laid back forum where people actually discuss stuff and there's not a flock of troll slayers to anger.
Sooooo let me get this straight, Dez in one-on-one match ups and he doesn't get the ball because he doesn't know the play? Dez not running good (crisper) routes is because he doesn't know the plays? The ball is under/overthrown and Dez not able to catch it is because he doesn't know the plays?

Yea, right... whatever. There is at least once a game where Witten looks at ball zip past him a second too soon and looks back a Romo like "WTH?", and Romo points to where he thought he should have been, BUT NOBODY'S SAYS A WORD. Dez can catch two 2tds or have 2 straight 3rd down grabs, but as soon as he "rounds" a route or not targeted the masses go to yelling "learn the plays" like it's always his fault. GTFOH. Get real. Also, Dez needs to be returning punts anytime the opposition is punting inside their 20, that should be a no brainer.
