The second half of the Cowboys' takedown of Chicago included a lot of yelling -- from the winning side.

No matter what the score was, NFL Network cameras showed Dez Bryant and cornerback Orlando Scandrick seemingly taking turns screaming on the sideline. Bryant seemed upset one time when the Cowboys ran on third-and-long instead of passing. Scandrick was fired up after the Cowboys gave up one of their three fourth quarter touchdowns. Scandrick and Bryant were even seen yelling at each other at one point.

Bryant doesn't care who was watching.

"(Expletive) no, I do not care," Bryant said, via the Dallas Morning News. "Because I know I'm not doing anything wrong. They don't know what's going on. I can't care less. They ain't on no sidelines. Nobody's on the sidelines with us.

"The only thing they're waiting for us to do is take an L so they can talk a bunch of (expletive) about us. 'Oh, the same old Cowboys in December.' C'mon, man. Ain't none of that. We're going to take advantage of what we need to take advantage of.

"I don't give a (expletive) who films it. That's the truth. That's the truth. That's how I feel. As long as we get the W, that's the only thing that matters. Put that (expletive) down. ... Put my whole cuss words in there. I meant that. We're trying to do something big here. That's the only thing that matters."

Bryant is right; his sideline antics aren't a big deal. They are a sign of a player who has never been in the playoffs, and desperately wants to get there. We'd be afraid to pick against him at this point.

oh stfu Dez. this was selfishness plain and simple. Murray was getting the bulk of offensive opportunities (not to mention a fair amount of passes thrown in his direction) and you couldn't handle it. there are no altruistic underpinnings to your meltdowns. you motivate no one. just another example why I don't want this "me Me ME" shithead re-signed.

How is Dez wanting the team to NOT let up being selfish?

only a moron would buy that excuse. we scored a FG on that drive and it might have been more had Murray not had that huge loss when he tried to emulate Barry Sanders. how was that "letting up"?

I can vouch for Bob. He coached the Virginia Beach Ballers, sponsored by Best Buy, to consecutive Chesapeake Bay area championships.

oh yeah, 'cause he just reeks character and credibility. his little screaming fit during the Philly game really lit a fire under the defense, huh?

He wasn't screaming at the defense. But, even if we was, who gives a shit? We need more of this kind of thing on our sideline. And, I don't buy the selfish thing. He has been mic'ed up (or someone close to him is) showing that when he goes on these tirades he isn't yelling for the ball, he is yelling to motivate. I personally love this fire finally. We have been screaming for it for years. He is Irvin all over again in this regard.

On Thanksgiving he was. Lotta good it did.

no, we don't need prima donnas throwing tantrums. not one of his hissy fits has helped.

ah yes, the "passion" excuse. i remember the same BS was used to defend T.O. He exploded last night right after we kicked a FG to go up 38-13. Does 38 points sound like we were going conservative and sitting on a lead? Fuck no. Who cares if you amass 38 point primarily on the ground? He does.

well, they're black and wear 88, but other than that ..

Since the topic of the thread was about this last game...

He is not a prima donna. He has proven that over and over again. Sorry you can't see that.

:lol

You have absolutely no basis for saying he wants the ball more, so go ahead and keep projecting. It will make you look like an idiot.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Come on, man.

Eh, I'm kind of in the middle. Don't think all the screaming really motivates anyone... I think that stuff is way overrated.

But I don't know if it hurts much, either. Most of his teammates probably just roll their eyes and deal with it.
