Just saying I want him on the field in those 2 WRs sets too. The more plays we can make the defenses account for him the better.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I want him in the regular two WR offense all the time. This guy is better than Miles Austin. He needs to play.

If Miles Austin was a few shades darker, maybe I could take him seriously.

We went 3 wide to start the game.

I haven't been Roy's biggest fan, but so far he's been better than he has been. I believe 3 wide is our most dangerous set, so I would run that primarily. It's hard for me to call for Dez as the #2 right now when Roy has come out and done a great job for us so far.

Roy had a game winner stripped by a flag, and should have been saved by the refs before he fumbled the other day. No luck for this guy. Even when he does his job he gets the shaft.

There's a lot of truth to what you say.

He did step up and catch the would be game winner in Washington.

And, sorry, but this is one time we can say definitively that the refs royally screwed us on his fumble. His forward progress was stopped yards before he fumbled.

The guy is an underachiever. But he also has some rotten ass luck too.

I love him as the 3rd WR here. I really love him in the red zone.

We've got the skill position players to win a title.

We just don't have the blocking for those players.

I mean, Austin and Dez with Romo can be ridiculously good for a long time.

I'm almost inclined to agree with you on this...I'm not there yet. For now, I'll divide the baby and say that he certainly has more natural talent than Miles, but Miles is more polished at the moment. The sickening fact is that with jus tthese two, we shouldn't be 0-2 right now, if we had a freaking OC that knew how to playcall.

And people are now starting to ask about Garrett, "you got Dez, Austin, Romo, and Witten, and in TWO GAMES--8 QUARTERS, you can only manage TWO OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWNS?

No offensive coordinator in this league can scheme away a lack of talent along the offensive line.

If you don't have a line, you don't have anything. It all starts there.

You can't stress it enough that the O-line is a huge part of the offense.

I say it all the time, and I'll say it again I miss the days of pounding the rock.

I just gave this current unit too much credit in some areas. Now I say start over with Free, and maybe Costa.

BULLSHIT. This is the same team with the SAME OLINE... that had us second in the league last year in yards. Evidently, the Oline wasn't much of a problem when we are able to move the ball up and down the field, but it supposedly becomes one when we reach the red zone? Like I said... bullshit. This is on Garrett.

And if you feel that way, then why are you harping on Wade? Does that excuse also apply to him? Funny as to how you give certain people passes. And don't give me this crap about Wade being the HC, because the Oline was a problem under Parcells and yet you give him a pass as well.

I like Costa. He's not overly talented, but he seems intelligent and he will bust his ass.

The Oline isn't as bad as sbk makes it out to be.

Garrett isn't as bad as LL makes him out to me.

In my opinion, of course.

Our offenses problem, more than anything, is execution and penalties. We'll string together an 8-10 play drive, then have some stupid penalty back us up, and it's almost a given that we won't convert it to a first down.

And this might be slightly off on a tangent, but I am so sick and tired of seeing us try to force Marion Barber on short yardage situations, especially in the red zone.

Our run blocking is terrible, Short yardage especially. When it's time for the line to dig in and get that 1 or 2 yards, they get pushed around. Pass blocking is okay at best. Romo makes them look a lot better than they are. Look at how Garrett is being forced to call a game. We've yet to take a shot deep and we have no running game to speak of.
