On the defense, Ware and Hatcher look great. I wouldn’t let Ware play another down in the preseason. I have to admit he might really shine in this defense.

We've always had skill position players for days. OL + DL will determine this season. Can we run the ball and can we sack the QB.

Kiffins blitzes are getting home clean. Something that hasn't happened in a long time.

When i think explosive, i don’t really think about Witten. I hope they run him on deeper routes this year but i don’t know if the pass protection will allow that. The 4 players i named can take it from the house on any play. Playcalling could be a big factor, we shall see. I would have liked to have seen the Cowboys run on 3rd and short instead of throwing incomplete bombs.

Just even running some screens or a pass out in the flats, would do wonders. I never get this "all or nothing" mentality with Garrett, especially in the red zone. It could be 2nd and 7 on on the 12-yard line, and he would call two plays to the end zone, rather than trying to get the "easier" 1st down at the 5 yard line, and thus being closer to the end zone with a new set of downs. Then we have to settle for FGs.
