So much suckitude, it's getting hard to come up with new stuff for this team. Very few examples of anything this team does well on a weekly basis. The kicker is epic. 88 is a sensational player. Overshown is a keeper. Ferguson is very good. I like our young trio of OL (even though Guyton gets a few too many penalties, but he can improve that). Eventually maybe we'll see our top 2 CB's on the field together. There's some things to like, but mostly it's just pure ineptitude with this team from the top down. We have the worst GM and football operations in the league. We have the worst HC and coaching staff in the league, and we have a roster of players who mostly dont give a shit. Fundamentally, this team is probably the worst in the league as well.

1) Prescott is a complete flop. Worst contract decision in the history of the franchise and nothing is close. Physically he resembles a washed up horse than needs to hit the glue factory. There's definitely something wrong with his elbow or shoulder, every week the flutterballs and lack of zip become more and more evident. He cant read the field to save his life and the inaccuracy is just nauseatingly bad. I am almost shocked Lamb and Ferguson were able to walk off the field yesterday with all the huge hits they took because of poor Prescott throws. Yesterday he had a wide freaking open Jalen Tolbert for what prob would have been a likely 80yd TD, and he didnt even try to throw the ball to him even though he HAD to have seen him. He had the lowest "air yards" per completion than I think I have ever seen for a NFL game, 18 completions netted a TOTAL of 35 air yards. (air yards is the yardage a completed pass travels from the LOS). This means most of his completions were right at or behind the LOS. As I was watching the game it was evident everything was short, but this was truly pathetic. He also showed no touch whatsoever on most throws, even the short ones. Had a ball that got knocked down on a screen pass to Ferguson (would have been a huge play and at a bare minimum a 3rd down conversion) because he couldnt loft it over the head of a feet on the ground DE, instead he threw it low and tried to get it "around" him. Just fucking terrible. Any of 100 QB's could do what 4 does, and the vast majority of them wouldnt have cost anywhere near 60 mils per season.

2) There really isnt any more a sign of a poorly coached and prepared team than pre-snap penalties and completely shoddy fundamentals (blocking and tackling). The Cowboys are the worst in the league in basically all of these (or close to the worst). Yesterday they had SEVEN pre-snap penalties. One false start when we had 1st and goal inside the 1, another play we had 12 men on the field breaking the huddle on 4th and inches. Numerous other false starts or illegal formations. They also missed a ton of open field tackles.

3) Getting painful to watch Zack Martin, who is a shell of his former self. He supposedly has back and knee problems now and yesterday looked like his 3rd consecutive poor game. He also missed what appeared to be a fairly easy block on a screen play to Dowdle on the opening series, had he got it Dowdle probably would have scored a TD. End appears near for him. The guy beside him (Steele) is one of the absolute worst starting OT's in the league and he was awful again yesterday. He's yet another massive Jones blunder with contract extensions.

4) In a continuation of #2 above, not only are the fundamentals and penalties poor, but they look like keystone cops on the field on far too many plays. Our own guys constantly run into each other. All this stuff lends to the likelihood that they just dont practice hard or do much in week preparation for opponents in the film room either. That play that Diggs got picked by his own guys that turned into a 4tf down TD for Falcons is a play that reportedly they have ran several times this year from that same formation.

5) How bad are we? The Saints team that resembled the 85 Bears or 89 Niners v us in week two just lost their 7th consecutive game and fired their HC.

6) Just a painfully stupid decision by McCarthy to go for a fake punt deep in his own territory, down 14-10. The play had no chance for success (and should have been picked off) but the Anger tried to throw it anyway. Then the Cowboy HC and a few others are clamoring for a PI call, when as noted by the announcers there is no PI allowed for on the gunners. The Falcon defender obviously knew that because he intentionally interfered and held the Goodwin and knew it wouldnt be called.

7) Several Cowboy writers said the Cowboy coaches "discussed" making changes at FS/SS during the week, but when gametime rolled around there were bums Donovan Wilson and Malik Hooker out there. Missing tackles and blowing coverages just like all the other weeks. Juanyeh Thomas did get a few snaps at DB and looked ok moving around, but then promptly got hurt on kick coverage and never returned.

8) People keep clamoring for more Kevontae Turpin at WR, and he showed exactly why that cant happen again. He's a nice return guy (blew a TD by failing to stay inbounds on one long return though) but he fights the ball as a WR and he went down far too easily on another completion, which might have also been a TD had he stayed upright.

9) Jones went to the lockerroom after the game and basically made excuses for the team and told them he "still believes in them". Enough of the fucking coddling for these hosers. You've coddled this team for years, and that's exactly why they are mentally and physically soft.

10) Hard to see more than one or two more wins this year. Jones claimed after the game he was "still all-in" on this season and they had some trades in the works to improve the team. But short of trading out your lame coaching staff and your awful QB, there's absolutely nothing that can be done to save this season. Trading away picks for players is incredibly stupid at this point, so that means Jones will probably do it.

Team is in free fall and Jerry and Stevie forgot to order a parachute. Amazing someone could do a job for 30 years and be this bad at it. Since 96 Jerry as a GM going into this season had a 54% winning percentage overall and a 5 and 8 playoff record. The Jones family death grip lead to nothing but fan despair and embarrassment.
